Flagging
Flagging brings together the tradition of gay hanky codes and queer visual history in the form of street art, publications of the early 20th century and political logos of gay liberation as wearable art. My hope is that not only will the hankies be useful to the wearer as cruising code, but that they will create a dialogue about our collective past and current struggle for liberation.
